Small toys, big feelings

Five plush pipyakas in pink, yellow, orange, white and sand, sitting on pink pedestals against a rosy wall.

The story behind our plush buddies

One evening, when I wanted something soft and cozy to hold in my hands, I stitched my first plush buddy. A small roll of fabric and a few threads. I began shaping simple, rounded bodies, gentle, slightly clumsy, huggable creatures, and gave them tiny eyes and thread mouths that look like they're always trying to be brave.

As each character took shape, they felt like small companions with a minimalist look, but a warm, human heart. Made for people who need softness, like the kind you want to hold when the world gets loud. I wanted every plush to carry the feeling of being understood. That's why I keep everything minimal: the details are small, but the emotion is big. I tested different colors, hoping to capture moods: gentle pastels for calm, sunny tones for courage, bright hints for days that needed hope, and deeper shades for quiet strength.

Today, our gentle friends are still created the same way, for hugs and comfort, to be held, gifted, and remembered!

What makes a pipyaka a pipyaka

Three rules, never broken:

  • Drawn by hand. Every character starts as a pencil sketch, and each toy is cut and sewn by hand, which is why every pipyaka comes out a little different, and most are one of a kind.
  • Soft and gentle. High-quality plush mink fabric and hypoallergenic filling. Most faces are fully embroidered by hand, never glued. Some pipyakas have plastic eyes, securely fixed from the inside.
  • Adopted, not sold. When a pipyaka finds its person, its page stays up, marked "Adopted". Sewn once, remembered forever.

The process

Everything happens at one big table by a window: sketching, cutting, sewing, stuffing, embroidering, and the final cuteness inspection (the strictest step!). A typical pipyaka takes four to eight hours of work, an upgraded one (e.g. with accessories) can take days.

Pipyakas are packed in sealed bags and placed in a box with care instructions, so they reach you safe and sound. If you order pipyakas as a gift, just say so in your message: we will add special festive packaging with a card and take any special wishes into account (do not forget to tell us for which specific holiday and for whom you are making an order).
